The Legendary Battle For The Soul of Parking Space #9 Continues!
(ok, to be fair, I don’t actually know which space was in question, but I’m pretty sure it had some sweet front door access.)

Late last night, our worlds were rocked by the outbreak of violence between two sweet R&B crooners, Chris Brown, of the Greenish-Yellow Locks Vs. Frank Ocean, of The Exotic Headband. The two bumped heads (and a finger) after an argument in the parking lot of the Westlake recording studio. There were reports that Frank was upset over Chris parking in his space, and that Chris was blocked from driving off, and that Chris attempted a handshake, but then the scuffle popped off between the stars and their crews…and then doves cried.

Now, the New York Post is reporting that the L.A. County Sheriff has bad news for the currently-on-parole Chris Brown…
Frank Ocean doesn’t care about your silly “code of the streets”…He wants JUSTICE!

Just when you thought Courtney Love couldn’t get any more unpredictable. While on stage at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah last week, the rock singer and widow of Kurt Cobain surprised everyone by performing an acoustic cover of Jay-Z’s 2004 classic, “99 Problems.” Not that her rendition was particularly great, and why did Courtney choose not to omit the n-word from her version?? She did attempt to spin the last line to “I got 99 problems but being a b*tch ain’t one,” though.

In this clip, Rich Dollaz (long-suffering manager of Olivia primarily for the purposes of the reality show Love and Hip Hop) is begrudgingly being interviewed by the Mouth To Ears blog in the lobby of a hotel….when cops show up to arrest him. The arrest allegedly traces back to an ongoing child support claim. And while it seems like a bit of a hassle (especially when the baby mama pressing charges appears outside the hotel to scream at Dollaz for added melodrama)…if you notice how surly and condescending Dollaz is in the beginning of the interview, maybe the interruption wasn’t so inconvenient after all. Kismet!

Ok, that’s just an awkwardness intermission. Carry on.

The Trouble Man might be looking to make a big move this year with his Hustle Gang label. According to TMZ, sources tell them TIP has been meeting with the likes of Dr. Dre and Sony to discuss a new recording home after his 10-year contract with Atlantic ended last month. While the rumor mill says he’s looking for something along the lines of $75 million, T.I. is reportedly looking to incorporates all of his business ventures.T.I. was recently spotted with Dr. Dre L.A.

The deal would allegedly include:

- 3 albums
- 10-20 percent of publishing, touring, merchandise, film and TV rights
- Corporate endorsement deals
- Exclusive signing of all Grand Hustle artists

Call it a comeback. After years of fans asking for it, Justin Timberlake is getting that itch again and is set to drop new music as soon as next week. According to Florida’s Radio Now 97.9, the 31-year-old singer is prepping the release of a new single next Monday, possibly coming sooner at 12 p.m. EST on Thursday. Produced by Timbaland, the song is set to feature none other than Jay-Z. Back in 2011, Timberlake revealed to Vanity Fair magazine that the Brooklyn MC was to appear on his classic FutureSex/LoveSounds album in 2006. But due to conflicting schedules, the collaboration never came to fruition.

“Look, Jay-Z has put out 11 albums, and I was talking about doing a collaboration with him, and he said, ‘I can’t do it right now, but I’ll get you on the next album.’ I was like, ‘No, man, I don’t work like that. This sounded good to me for you and me to do together, and if it doesn’t work, then I totally get it, but I won’t be putting an album out next year; these aren’t a dime a dozen to me.’”

The news shouldn’t come as a complete shock as JT reportedly was in studio with Beyoncé working on new music leading up to her Super Bowl performance on February 3 in New Orleans.

UPDATE: According to industry sources, the song will premiere tomorrow on Clear Channel radio stations worldwide at 12 p.m. EST. The untitled song is produced by Timbaland.

UPDATE #2: Insiders have confirmed with Billboard that Justin Timberlake is prepping the release of a new album entirely produced by Timbaland. Set to arrive sometime this year, it’s believed the pop star has 20 new songs currently recorded.

It’s been hard keeping up with the KimYes lately. In yet another grand gesture to profess their love, the couple has just purchased an $11 million mansion together. Their new abode is located in Bel Air, CA and is designed to house something like 14,000 square feet of space. According to TMZ, the property is an Italian-style villa that includes “a gym, movie theater, full hair and makeup salon, bowling alley, basketball court, indoor and outdoor pool … oh and probably a baby nursery. Just a hunch.”

In baby news, TMZ has learned that a foreign tabloid has offered to pay $3 million for the first photos of KimYe Jr, but the two parents-to-be have already turned it down. Apparently, close sources say they aren’t willing to sell the photos to anyone… or, at least, not at this moment. Kim & Kanye join a lucrative list of celeb baby pic offers that include Brangelina‘s $4.1 million deal for Shiloh, J.Lo and Marc Anthony‘s $6 million for their twins, and Christina Aguilera‘s $1.5 million cash-in for her baby’s photo.

N.O.R.E.’s no more, according to the rapper himself. The Queens-native is starting the new year with a new/old monkier as he’ll go by his street name of P.A.P.I. for his forthcoming sixth solo album, Student of the Game. Standing for Power Always Proves Intelligence, Noreaga spoke with MTV News on the change.

“I wanted to do something totally different for the album. Sometimes if you’re lost, the best way to find where you’re at is to go to the beginning,” he explained. “My mother doesn’t even call me Victor, my father has never called me Victor, my teachers didn’t even call me Victor… My name in Lefrak City and my name in Queens is actually P.A.P.I., it’s not even N.O.R.E.”

Along with the new name, N.O.R.E. will debut his new single/video for “Tadow” featuring 2 Chainz, Pusha T and French Montana this Sunday on MTV Jams. Catch a sneak peek video teaser after the jump…..

Oh, did you not get the memo?…Ladies, just donate all your sweaters and Puritanical button-up tops to the poors because in 2013, covering up your blessing is strictly for squares. The best of the nightlife spots will institute “Shirts No Service” rules. To be fair, I have no factual proof of this, but I am going by what I’m seeing from everyone’s New Year’s Eve club photos, and from what was exhibited at Thursday’s premiere party for VH1′s Love and Hip Hop Season 3. Reality TV shows are for sharing your personal life. Reality TV parties are for sharing your areolas.

Castmember Erica Mena set the bar with her Ice-Capades sparkly-doily body net. Tahiry Jose aired out her bra, and Joe Budden‘s girlfriend Kaylin went topless with just an open blazer and double stick tape. Great bodies all the way around, but….how will they top this for the chair-throwing “reunion” special? (VH1 will be the 1st network to replace “upfronts” with “full-frontals”; )

(Azealia Banks)

Yesterday the fur flew on twitter when Azealia Banks and Angel Haze, two new female rappers with fine wordplay but similar styles, went at each others throats. The genesis of the beef was sketchy, something about who had the right to act like they were from New York or some such…but as in most cases, the real foundation of the bad blood traced way back to a real life meet-up. Angel claims that Azealia invited her to hang out, and then pushed up on her, but when rejected, things went sour. And Angel used Azealia’s alleged text messages on the artwork for the diss song she dropped, called “On The Edge.”

Today, Azealia responded with her own diss song, called “No Problems.”
“She like my new talk, my new style, my new walk, this new whore. Open your mouth and I bruised yours…Who her? I’m a true star, this butch bitch got blue balls….”

While we’ve all seen Lil Wayne’s unfortunate “Baked” face tattoo, Drake’s latest body ink is like the emotional opposite of that. Wayne paid tribute to a random skateboard company. Drake pays tribute to two deceased family members, his uncle and his grandmother. Drake visited tattoo artist Nikko Hurtado in Hesperia, CA for the large back pieces on Dec. 27th.

Miss Info: Drake is all about demonstrative sentimentality. From his Aaliyah tattoo to this new tribute to his late uncle and grandmother…if Drake loves you, you will end up permanently pictured on his skin. That’s basically the rule. But the most interesting thing about this new tattoo is what we don’t see. Look at the photo of the back tattoo (after the jump)…The center of it is Drake’s Uncle hugging his Grandmother. And the piece incorporates the previous Aaliyah face that he already had on his back. But who is the mystery woman tattooed on the other side?….
