The long-awaited moment finally arrived and Beyoncé gave an unforgettable performance during the Pepsi Halftime Show at Super Bowl XLVII. The pop diva rocked the stage like no other as fans sprinted to the field as “Run the World (Girls)” opened up the spectacle. Bey soon appeared starting the halftime concert with a medley of hits including “Love On Top,” “Crazy In Love,” and a heavy reggae-inspired set to her 2003 Sean Paul-assisted hit “Baby Boy.”

After rumors of who would appear on stage with Beyoncé, those questions were soon answered as Bey’s fellow Destiny’s Child members in Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams joined in for a medley of “Bootylicious,” “Independant Women,” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It).” The 12-minute rocking set ended on a soft note, as Beyoncé showed off her vocals to the sounds of “Halo” before thanking those watching for the once in a lifetime moment.

Justin Timberlake brought classy and soul to the stage on Saturday night for his first concert in over five years. The pop star performed at Mardi Gras World in New Orleans for DIRECTV’s Super Bowl “Super Saturday Night” event. Co-hosted by NBA Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, the invite-only event benefited the Shriners Hospitals for Children. With Questlove of The Roots warming up the evening, many of those in attendance were eagerly awaiting J.T.’s appearance on stage.

The dapper Timberlake appeared dressed for the occasion as he was back by his band dubbed ‘JT and The Tennessee Kids’ for the show’s opener “Like I Love You.” Timberlake ran through hit songs off his two previous solo albums, 2002′s Justified and 2006′s FutureSex/LoveSounds. Along with covers on INXS’ “Make You Sweat” and Michael Jackson’s “Rock Your Body,” J.T. gave a unique mix of “Cry Me a River” that included Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “Ni**as In Paris.” Moving without a hitch, the 31-year-old debuted two soulful funky songs in “Little Pusher Live Girl” and “That Girl,” both expected to appear on his forthcoming The 20/20 Experience album due March 19.

If that wasn’t enough, the best was saved for last. Jay-Z, dressed just as dapper, joined J.T. on stage to perform their new collaboration “Suit & Tie” for the first time. Timbaland followed up by closing the show with Justin to a high-powered version of their 2006 hit “SexyBack.”

Did she lip-synch at President Obama’s Inauguration? Who cares. Because Beyoncé will be the star of the Super Bowl halftime show this Sunday (Feb. 3) in New Orleans. For a performance of this magnitude, it’s no surprise there’s plenty of rehearsal hours being put in, and Mrs. Carter takes us behind-the-scenes of the first day with the video and snapshots below. The clip may only be brief, but it definitely suggests we’re in for a spectacle of a halftime show. Just check out that dance routine.

As previously announced, Bey will be joined on stage by fellow Destiny Child’s members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, where they will perform their new single, “Nuclear.” She is also expected to close out her performance by debuting a never-before-heard song off her upcoming fifth solo album.

After recruiting Azealia Banks for his Fall 2012 T campaign, fashion designer Alexander Wang has enlisted another of Harlem’s most famous faces, A$AP Rocky, for his new Spring 2013 T ad. The rapper gets his acting on (kind of) by shopping in a Wang store, only to be harassed by new employee, comedienne Bon Qui Qui. He isn’t her only victim, though. She also irks supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, pregnant model Shannon Click and Barneys’ creative ambassador-at-large Simon Doonan.

A$AP Rocky also gets camera time in Noisey’s new web series, Noisey Raps. The premiere episode goes behind the scenes of Rocky’s recent Long Live A$AP tour, and features appearances from ScHoolboy Q, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, A-Trak, Flatbush Zombies and The Underachievers.
