First we got “Me, Myself and iPhone,” followed by “Repo,” now Tha Hustla strikes back for 10-minutes straight over a medley of classic hip-hop cuts in “R.A.I.D.” The acronym stands for Robert Ass Is Dead, Robert, referring to Meek Mill’s government name.

A real diss track is memorable – ether, hit em up, takeover, dre day, no vasaline etc. These werent just dope DISS SONGS they were dope SONGS. This is just cassidy rhyming for 10 minutes and talking shit about 1 rapper. You dedicate 10 minutes to one rapper and shit is going to get real boring real quick and this one did. I agree this so called diss record was 10 mins way to long. 99.9 % of people listen to it once and tuned out after the first minute (pls keep it real) and won’t listen to it again. This is not a battle about lyrics cause we all know cass is better. It’s about who the better artist out of Philly and meek so far has been that. Cassidy has many freestyles we can all remember but name 3 of his songs on your iPod.

Its not the worst album in the world but I listened to it twice, its just like his mixtapes. We get those for free so who wants to invest in an album that sounds like everything else you put out?

Someone with editing skills, take the most impressive shots, edit it down to 2:30, add a hook in there to fill out another :45 seconds and keep the intro. Then, maybe just maybe I won’t be disappointed.
Cassidy won this decisively and may have done some momentary damage to Meek’s rap credibility, but overall both came weak. And not due to effort, but due to skill. Meek should teach Cass how to differentiate his flow and Cass should help Meek out with adding lyricism to his songs.

Cass destroyed him. At first after reading the previous comments I was pre-conditioned not to listen to the entire thing but I did anyway and Cass got stronger throughout. Meek fooled me when I first heard “Im a Boss” but then I was later annoyed when I found out that this is the voice he raps in all the time. Meek is really just a screaming gimmick ass rapper with one gear. Maybe he should try to ignore Cass before he get JaRuled. No I wasnt in anyway standing up for Drake as I agree with you as far as him being a sucka. My point was that he was smart enough not to commit career suicide by responding to Common straight up. In some cases responding to a diss or getting involved in diss rap is crazy. For example Jeezy spent all that time dissing Ross and lost a lot of ground and a ton of money. JaRule was at the top of his game then came 50 destroyed him. Maybe MMG will do Cassidy like The Roc did Jaz-O but thats unlikely.
