Philadelphia native Cassidy was arrested Saturday afternoon after an open warrant had been issued for his arrest due to probation violation. The rapper was detained by county police in Hackensack, NJ at around 1:30pm shortly after leaving his home where the Police Emergency Response Team followed him to a local convenience store, eventually arresting the 28-year old. That wasn’t it, as Cassidy is suspected in one murder and two attempted murders in his hometown of Philadelphia.
The rapper was brought to the Bergen County Jail Annex and will await extradition to Philadelphia.

Damn. Dude must have broken 100 mirrors and had 1000 black cats cross his path because it seems like he has the market cornered on bad luck. I hope this isn’t true. My prayers go out to Cass and his family.

I’m not buying this. I just saw Cassidy in a video traveling to Dubai to perform in a club a few months ago. I doubt that he has the time to plan or to be involve in murders. People have to stop acting like rappers are “gangstras”. They are not they are performers like actors or comedians. Don’t forget that. It seems strange to me that his name would come up so quick in a murder investigation, very strange.

RAPPERS NEED TO STOP ACTING LIKE GANGSTAS…. YOU HAVE SNITCHES THAT WOULD DROP DIME JUST TO BE RELEASED OR HAVE A SHORTER STINT IN JAIL…. PLUS THE RAP GAME HAS TRULY BECOME A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN ACT AND TALK ABOUT SOMETHING YOU REALLY NOT A PART OFF. THERE ARE ONLY A FEW REAL DUDES WHO HAVE “REALLY” LIVED IT. THE MAJORITY ARE JUST MADE UP IN EXECUTIVE BOARD ROOMS.

Its easy to look and act a certain way. Cause nowadays no one really gets tested. I remember the late 80’s 90’s that if you talked a certain way you have to also walk it…. I don’t blame the executives. Because with out the Fans demand they will not push the product…..

Damn this guy went from being in a super smart exclusive private school to a mediocre rap career and now he’s face jail for murder for a second time. Drugs addicts don’t have it that bad. What is he doing in his spare time?

Listen, I’m from Jerz first and foremost. With that said, when will these rappers learn that the 2 cities you CAN’T live in in Jerz are Hackensack and Teaneck. Those cops HATE rappers.
