maybe I’ll get blessed with a couple tickets to give-away….or maybe not, but I’ll ask ; )

Miss Info: I have mad respect for you and the way you do what you do as far as reporting goes, you usually keep it real no matter what it is except when it comes to camron and the dipset. Know i aint gonna sit up here on some internet gangsta shit but everyone in that camp is trash. Lyrically they don’t shine, i’ll give them props cause they do hustle hard but that’s where it stops. I wish you, angie martinez, Flex and the rest of the d—k riders would stop acting like their important to hip hop, have we forgotten all the ignorance they have spread, The fake thuggery they promote and the lack luster material they put out? Now yau’ll wanna act like they could bring the east coast back, when they are part of the reason why New York fell off in the first place! Let’s not forget the pink clothes, the west coast swag jacking and the down south d—k riding that they do. Jimmy flopped and so will camron and juelz. There should be no place in hip hop for these clowns and if you can’t report objectively regardless of who the report is on, then there should be no place for you either! I have my own opinion. I like or have liked alot of dipset related music. also, I’ve known 3 of the members for many years and like them on a personal level. period.
this is not an unbiased blog, this is a my biased blog. But I’m a fair person as well. So that’s about all I can say.

Do people even know what a blog is? I was reading the post of Nesto in here and it just sounds ridiculous. A blog is an internet site usually geared toward the maintainers views on a particular subject. Its not NBC, or Dateline News. Ms.Info is entitled to have whatever position she wants about whatever or whoever she wants. If a visitor to “her” blog doesn’t like “her” views than they can start their own blog and state their views. Just like she allows you to post your views on “her” site, you should at least understand that she definitely has the right to post her own.

I miss the days when the album release was an event. People used to que up to get cassetes.
Posters everwhere street teams with posters e.t.c. Good times.
These days an album drops and it’s like who cares everyone has already heard the whole album a month before the release date and couldn’t care less.

miss info has always made it clear that she knew Cam and Jimmy all the way back to the Untertainment days.
This is her blog which many other sites jack her stuff. Remember when she first broke the the news of jimmy and cam beefing that shit was all over.
As far as the dips not holding down the east that sounds crazy. They kept the Roc buzzin.
From heatmakers on the production side to the songs they had shit on lock. even b4 the roc deal go back and listen to them old kslay tapes 2001 thru 2002. Way before jay came with the soul sample blueprint Lp.
You go to any club and see if a dj dont throw on a mean diplomat set. Much love for D block TS G-unit but the diplomats still get as much love today as they did in 2002.

Nesto, we are curious to know whon you like???? Who do you like? Its hard to sale records now! Who is selling? Curtis album doesnt have a release date! Jayz couldnt get up enough steam to release BP3! Its a lot of people having trouble, the biggest rappers in the world are having trouble selling records! I think it’s a fair question in regards to the DIPS place in the east coast if not overall hip hop relevance. Now There was a time, before bloggers and fans were concerned about sound scan that arguably D Blocc and Dipset were the hottest street groups in the game. You could hit a club and yes those 2 groups could hold down an extra extended set of quality music. But as the money grew(more so for the DIPS) the quality dropped. That seems like an honest view.
Cam’s new material is hot.Not Children of the Corn hot but still hot. I think teh “Swag” movement over took the DIPS. It became more about looking like a roc star then putting out quality music.
I hope Cam’s project is successful but his crew or former crew has given the public more then enough ammo to question their place in hip hop. I mean it’s not like we’re talking about Wu Tang here.

okay lets get to the real! On some real like talk i don’t really do this blog stuff, but after reading this I said lets put it out there. Cam was graet during the horse and carriage days. held it for minute THEN here we go EGO EGO EGO!!!!! Let your team shine when your timne is up. No way should anybody else been the focus since 2004 when hell rell came home. But instead you wanna slide the maybe in the game yeah juelz had a little smoke but so does my newports AND it goes out! Cam was and still is down with the fly shit not the rock shit Juelz and Jimmy started doing in 05′ and up to the present. Cam did let his boys shine, he just didn’t want to be associated with the rock/queer look, which was brilliant on his part. He also took most their money so that is why they were mad but, that was the deal they signed. I have no doubt Cam will sell 600,000-700,000 units from this and get $4.2 million based on getting $6 a record and then after taxes make $2.8 million and then if he invests it in this shitty stock market at the low prices in 5 years he will be at $5 million just off of this one album and letting his money work for him.
