Killa Season is approaching, f-ck whatever y’all been hearing. After running around NYC draped in a shiny piece in recent weeks, Cam’ron unveiled his new custom capeline with menswear guru Mark McNairy at New York Fashion Week earlier today. With Dame Dash and Jim Jones looking on, Killa walked the runway alongside his sidekick Juju, showing off a majestic Harris Tweed cape with faux fur lining.

Cam and McNairy’s collection includes three more capes: flannel wool with satin lining, blurred-out camo with yellow mesh, and blacked-out wool with quilted lining. Best of all, every cape features either Dipset USA or Diplomats printed on the back. No word yet on when these bad boys will go on sale.

I’m savvy enough to see this for what it is. True to the Harlem spirit, KUDOS/PROPS to Cam for coming up with another hustle. The buzz that this cape line will create will help breathe life into the Dipset brand. It really is a briliant marketing tool. It probably will even generate some revenue (that Cam is sure to exxagerate). Other than that though, I dont really see the cape wave hitting mainstream. Again, I aint mad at you Cam for this hustle. The music is what this Cam supporter is interested in/looking for.
