The long-storied issues between The Diplomats and Jay Z continue. On Thursday night, Funkmaster Flex took time during his evening mixshow on HOT 97 to take aim at Jay Z’s Life + Times website. During the on-air rant, Funk Flex criticized the site for a past interview where they asked him questions regarding his iOS/Android app. Those specific questions never made the final publishing feature. Fast forward to recently, where Life + Times reached out again to ask the legendary DJ about his role in The Diplomats reunion. The request was puzzling to Flex considering there’s a well-known ban of any Dipset records being played at Jay Z’s 40/40 clubs, that’s been enforced for years.

Now one day after Funkmaster Flex’s rant, Dipset’s Cam’Ron and Jim Jones have some words for the Brooklyn rapper-mogul on a freestyle over Puff Daddy’s No Way Out-classic “Victory.” One beef that seems to have no truce, listen to Killa Cam and Jimmy latest record, plus Flex’s rant from Thursday night below.
