New Music: Busta Rhymes Feat. Q-Tip, Kanye West & Lil’ Wayne “Thank You”
Posted by Mr.North under New Music[23] Comments

Busta Rhymes is gracious to all on “Thank You,” the new single off his forthcoming E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2 album. The Conglomerate general gets his two-step on with a funky record, co-starring some of rap’s best in Q-Tip, Kanye West, and Lil’ Wayne. Similar to Fat Joe’s 2012 single “Pride N Joy,” some of the star features (Kanye and Lil’ Wayne) appear in ab-lib form.
Back in August, Busta, Q-Tip, Kanye, and Director X filmed the song’s video in New York City. The sequel to Busta Rhymes 1998-release E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front, arrives in 2014 via Cash Money Records/Republic/Universal.

Q-Tip is easily one of the greatest MCs ever. He definitely elevated rap music to a new level with his MCing and his production.
NWA was a fantastic rap group. You can say what you want about their subject matter. I will not defend them on much of their material. However, the production, level of rhyming and delivery was outstanding.
Biggie is one of the all time greats.
Puffy was always garbage. That’s all I can agree with you on.

I would block dontblockme. Guy is a douche. Tip is a demigod

dontblockme: you are a fuckin idiot. To say that Q-ip has a “corny and Cartoonish voice” which “ruined hip hop” shows how much you really don’t know about the art form called hip hop. Based on your shallow comment critiquing one of the Best MC’c who paved the way for all of the i-phone artist that you listen to today, I would say that the only taste you have is in your mouth. Get a grip son and recognize the trail that ATCQ blazed with TIP at the forefront. I can’t even believe I’m responding to this loser….word!

I don’t know what the hell “dontblockme” is talking bout! QTip is genius! The voice is different and adds to the delivery. Busta’s voice is always perfect. Only thing I would change is…THIS SHIT NEEDS MORE DRUMS!! For them to ride the beat, the drums have to be accented…I know the sample doesn’t play that way, but that’s where a producer’s creativity comes in…more Kanye would be nice but overall this track needs MORE DRUMS

the fuck is up with this beat? It’s danceable in parts and undanceable in most

Featuring Yeezy and Wayne? Get Real. Don’t Rick Roll me. I don’t need to be tricked into listening to Busta and Tip. They’re great on their own.

This is hard
November 7th, 2013 at 9:10 am
Could of been better. Agreed needed more Ye’s flow. Busta sucked. Sorry it is true. Beat go’s too hard for weak flows. Seems like it was half finished as well. Come Harder!

Should have let the drums just go. This is gonna be mildly confusing on the dancefloor

THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO RAP IN RECENT YRS. HAS BEEN KANYE, TI, AND DRAKE.

IF NO ONE HAD EVER HEARD BIG THEY WOULD HAVE NEVER MISSED HIM…THE RAP WORLD WAS DOIN FINE WITH KIM, LL, KANE, AND OTHERS.

THEY JUST WEREN’T TALKIN ALL THAT SELF-DESTRUCTION BULLSHIT THAT CAME AFTER TRIBE….TRIBE WAS FOR THE 1975 HALF-GROWN KIDDIES….AND THE POP AUDIENCE….NOT THE GROWN-UPS RUNNING THIINGS AT 19YRS.
MAYBE THEY THOUGHT Q-TIP WAS A SATURDAY CARTOON CONTINUED.
November 11th, 2013 at 3:31 am

WHERE ARE MY OTHER COMMENTS…..Q-TIP TOOK THE MASCULINITY OUTTA METRO AND RE-WORKED POP.
MEN DIDN’T HAVE ANYWHERE TO GO SO THEY ADOPTED BIG AND PLAYED WITH NWA
November 11th, 2013 at 6:04 pm
