Posted by Mr.North under New Music[41] Comments
After delivering a #1 record, Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown return again in reverse roles for this new single off Busta’s upcoming E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2: End Of The World album. This will be a pretty unique project for Busta because the new album will be debuted exclusively through Google’s new venture, Google Music. Meanwhile, Info broke the news on Celeb Drama of Busta Rhymes joining the powerful team that is Cash Money Records. That’s right, Busta Rhymes’ new home will be with Birdman, Slim, and Lil’ Wayne. He isn’t the only one joining though, former No Limit solider Mystikal has also signed with the Cash Money Empire. Belee dat!

Wow I commend them for being real smooth about it & keeping it under wraps! This could def work for Buss! And unlike younger dudes who sign to CM, I think he’s smart enough/old enough to not let Birdman rape him! So congratz! And the Mystikal move, that’s wassup to! They’re def showing respect to some vets! I know Master P gotta be salty! I seen his most recent video monkeyin’ around on some goon shit like he 18!

comment of the day!!! that’s the best analogy possible in this situation. To me its a step down in Busta’s esteemed career. Who knows maybe they opened up a new budget for flip mode and carried over all breaches in his contract; but seems like the old veteran player that reeks of desperation financially and will do anything to get a championship ring.
He lost integrity points in my book. I know many will disagree and say its a smart career move; but hes already a home made brand why not go the individual investment route and build your new artist under you. big win for YMCB lost for flip mode. Trades like these never benefit the players just the owners=NBA lockout

Hmm If you got Busta why the fuck do u need Cory Gunz?
Thats like picking up Steve Nash when you already got Brandon Jennings on the roster…Gunz aint never gettin off the bench.. He better start writing his sideline story..

This is a good move but it reminds of G-unit when 50 started signing people all over the place who were coming from different labels. Its hard to push a lot of talent at once and keep everyone in check and happy, especially the way sales are now. Very difficult, we shall see.

November 17th, 2011 at 7:33 am
Busta, you’re not making an album as good as E.L.E. stop trying to deceive me
November 17th, 2011 at 8:21 am
i dont think we’ll see that many features, if baby n slim/wayne have any sense they will leave buss alone and let him do him, especially as this is E.L.E. 2 it’s got alot to live up to.

November 17th, 2011 at 10:14 am
let’s hope they let him do him cause if i so much as hear lil chuckee or lil twist on a song with busta,da hell with that if i even hear an ad lib from 1 of those fools on a busta track i’ll never look at busta da same.
November 17th, 2011 at 10:19 am
I am the BIGGEST Busta fan I know. I have been a fan since scenario. But i dont know if this is a good look for the kid.
If they let him live, and be creative, it can be cool. But you cant put Busta under Drake, or Minaj, or whoever he is Busta Rhymes.
Baby tried this sign a vet bet before with Mack 10 which didnt really work. Also, i thought Mystical was down with Mannie Fresh?
November 17th, 2011 at 11:45 am
My only issue with this is that it makes it seem like a band wagon move…why not sign with a major..afterall busta still has pull in da game..
the closet thing I would sign to another artist if I were him would be rock nation…
November 17th, 2011 at 12:21 pm
End of the day byrdman is smilling like a mofo rubbing his hands as the cash register goes cha ching in his head. Woah alot of people has made moves in the history of hip hop but id never thought i would say byrdman is the boss of all bosses smh

MAD ABOUT YOUR LAST SENTENCE….SMH
November 17th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Boogie i felt sick after i said it but its true cash money imprint has out lasted every other major imprint and after universal purchasing another label theres a influx of revenue from artists and now these dudes gor even more money to blow
November 17th, 2011 at 6:25 pm
the only real reason NY is still mention is because of JAY-Z. Who else from NY is selling platinum records. And still the most loved and hated?????? HE wears that crown. Maybe when these NY rappers start hating so much on HOV. Her will start opening the Books. And “GRACEFULLY BOW OUT”. Till then he is New York To the fullest.
November 17th, 2011 at 6:30 pm
Busta been in the game before Hov. Leaders of the NEW SCHOOL. Has to sign to a label that continue to call Legends “old rappers”. Over 20 years and never ever started his on RECORD COMPANY.
Whos next FAB TO SIGN TO CMB????
The real LEADERS of NEW YORK are Jay-Z and Puff.
November 17th, 2011 at 6:31 pm
Bussa aint no boss? 20 years in the game and can’t sign yourself.
November 17th, 2011 at 6:33 pm
he looking more like a groupie than anything else… And I been a fan of him since L.O.N.S…
November 17th, 2011 at 6:37 pm

#YMCMB SUCKS ASS NONE OF THEM ARE LYRICALLY INCLINED EVRYONE JUMPING ON THE BAND WAGON RIDIING AROUND EATING UP ALL THAT DICK THE MORE PEOPLE THEY SIGN JAE MILLZ WILL NEVER DROP A ALBUM NEITHER WOULD LIL CHUCKEE, LIL TWIST, SHANELL, CORY GUNZ AND WATEVR HAPPEN TO T-STREETS? THE GAME NOT LIKE HOW IT WAS BEFORE WHEN YOU HAD THEM POWER TEAMS AND EACH ARTIST CAN HOLD THEY OWN…. WELL AT LEAST WE GOT #MMG #GOODMUSIC AND BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR #COKEBOYS
November 17th, 2011 at 11:09 pm
YEA I SAID IT #COKEBOYS FRENCH MONTANA ALL DAMN DAY SINCE “I’M AT YA WIFE HOUSE” …. I WISH TO THE LORD WE STILL HAD STACK BUNDLES
November 17th, 2011 at 11:17 pm
That is the truest statement. He went from Leader to Soldier. I’m on the fence with his career move, and at the end of the day it is a career move. Maybe these major labels are not signing old veterans, Maybe Busta doesnt have the financial backing to come out under his own label. It’s especially bad for his “Flip Mode” venture. I believe lil Wayne did have a negative comment to say about Old-School artists, he dissed Jay-Z on some hater shit. Just off that he shows no respect. Overall I’m sure Busta could’ve found another label or someway to re-establish himself in the “New Game” of Hip-Hop. I just hope he keeps it real to his TRUE fans.
November 18th, 2011 at 1:02 am

November 18th, 2011 at 6:34 am
TALKING ABOUT LEGENDS/90’S CATS… NOT NEW JACKS THAT WONT BE AROUND 5 YRS FROM NOW.
November 18th, 2011 at 5:04 pm
Stack Bundles music is Timeless…. and if your a New York nigga you would know that #CokeBoys is running shit the mainstream is so washed up right now you need to take it back to the streets and that’s what French is doing, he has a biddin’ war on him right now as we speak the people who wants to sign him obviously see potential in him it’s looking like the old days again and badda bah bah bah “I’m Loving It.”
November 18th, 2011 at 5:10 pm
Hell no FAB will never sign to them he makes his own moves and needs no one he told us that on the “Loso’s Way Intro” … But I completely agree with you both, Busta been in this game damn near 30 years and he let niggaz surpass him so they can become their own leaders it’s such a damn shame
November 22nd, 2011 at 10:31 pm
A lot of yall have no clue what u r saying!!! Busta had a table under Sony….fucked all his artist except Rag Digga. Lord have mercy left because he didn’t see anything happening. Where is spliff Starr album, baby cham, rampage, hell he turned his back on the leaders and that was his blood….this is strictly a $$$$$ thing….he drops one album, fuck his artist over, blames cash money and he moves on….like he did at Sony, and how many forgot he was signed to aftermath!!! Get up on yall history….that’s why they can pass these no talented ass appear (not mc’s) on you fools….if u switched up the history and had all the new wrappers coming out in the 70’s hip hop would have died in the late 70’s…..its truly hip POP!!!
