New Music: Busta Rhymes Feat. Q-Tip “Poetic Justice (Remix)”
Posted by Mr.North under new music[3] Comments
With the world ending tomorrow, Busta Rhymes is clearing his conscious on the remix to Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city single “Poetic Justice.” As revealed in an exclusive interview earlier today, the song details Busta’s infatuation with the Janet Jackson while working on set of their classic “What’s It Gonna Be” video. The Scoop DeVille-produced cut reaches a playful moment as Busta expresses jealously in Q-Tip, who shared an intimate moment playing Janet’s boyfriend in 1993 drama/romance film Poetic Justice.
The collaboration with Q-Tip will appear on The Conglomerate’s Catastrophic mixtape, set to impact online tomorrow.
Listen as Busta Rhymes speaks his mind with Q-Tip on “Poetic Justice” below……
New Music: Busta Rhymes Feat. Q-Tip – “Poetic Justice (Remix)” (prod. by Scoop DeVille)
Says Busta:
“At this stage in my career and I ain’t really gotta nothing but be brutally honest in reference to being connected with the fans and also connected with my peers. At the end of the day, that record was about my experience with Janet when we did our video, when we did the the record we she featured on for my Extinction Level Event project in ‘98. And just my honest emotion when I experienced that… and encountered that phenomenal moment, rockin’ with Janet. I just wanted to be sincere and honest with it, and just share it with the generation that wasn’t around to actually experience the “peak” hour of that moment when it first came.”
