i think its ok to quote the qoran in a song. but mixing it, (what is supposed to be holy quotes for the muslims) with ignorant lyrics potraying greed, and gambling and stuffs like that. its very direspectful. its ok if they r juz saying words in arabic, but y does it have to b phrases from d qoran. i mean busta rhymes & d other guys are big names, but cant they b bit more sensitive?

every1 does have their own opinion.I personaly like da song.I am muslim and arab but 4 da ppl that keep sayin that ppl r bein 2 sensitive u juss don’t understand dat itz not juss da fact dat they putin something so special and sacred as r quran itz the fact that they done many songz in which they say sumthin 2 offend a certain color or religion and it getz apoligized 4.such as in kanyes song they bleep the word “white”girl…r u serious lol.but wen it comez 2 arabz they don’t care.and unless ur muslim or understand islam u wudnt understand y ppl r offended by them using r quran in da song.

but i rekon its not relli all tht bad!

I like the song, infact i onli lyk the surah part. ive prob recited while listenin to the song more times dan i wuld av while usin a tasbee… im one of them guilty muslims that do not read namaz all the time. I dnt no y but after this song its made me wanna read namaz more often, the words are just stuck in my head and reminds me of my religion all the time now….so is it relli a bad effect on ppl?
