Bruno Mars goes into 2013 on a high note. The singer/songwriter’s Unorthodox Jukebox sophomore album lands at No. 2 on Billboard‘s album charts, selling 192,000 opening week. Though the Grammy Award-winner falls short of the top spot to Taylor Swift’s RED album, his new project sold more than his Doo-Wops & Hooligans debut which moves 61,000 copies opening week in 2011.

On the hip-hop side, The Game earned his fifth top ten album as his Jesus Piece LP came in No. 6 moving 86,000 units. The number falls short of 2011’s The R.E.D. Album, which came in No. 1 with 98,000. Congrats to both artists as you can purchase Bruno Mars and The Game‘s albums on iTunes.
