“Barron Hilton, the 80-year-old son of the founder of the worldwide hotel chain that carries the family name, has earmarked 97 percent of his vast fortune – nearly $2.3 billion – to the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, to help the homeless with housing, find safe water in developing countries and assist other good causes around the world, it has been announced.
To Barron’s heirs – who include Paris – will go the remaining three percent: some $69 million, which is said to be taxable.
According to calculations by New York’s Daily News, Paris, who once foresaw a $100 million inheritance, is now likely looking at $5 million.
In a statement, Barron Hilton said that his father, Conrad, had set the example and bequeathed 97 percent of his money to the charitable foundation, which the elder Hilton founded in 1944, “and I am proud to follow my father’s example.”

now dont get me wrong i think paris hilton is a snotty little whore who does drugs to stay thin, but just cause her gran father wont give her his money when he dies doesnt mean shes broke, she has the money she has now,she has some clothing line and womans perfume under her name,she gets like 100,000 dollars just to go to a party and get drunk so people will knows shes their and come,and the money her mom gives her,plus the money from her lame tv show.i doubt shell be broke.she could have had more if she diddent tape her self having sex,and if she diddent go to jail,do drugs,act real snotty,and have people take pics of her doing a rich girl coke head dance in some upscale club while shes drunk and hungry peace…

that sh*t is a big *ss tax shelter. that’s what they do, leave their money to “charities” to get past certain tax laws. leona helmsley did the same thing and that b*tch wouldn’t spit on a poor person!. WHATEVER……After his father willed 97% to a charitable donation, Baron spent years in court trying to get most of his father’s money.(which he did). The apple never falls far from the oak tree. lol

That Hilton Foundation has been around for years. Don’t know what they do, heard they worked on water for Africa, Happy Meals for Haiti, Ping Golf clubs for angry old white men.
Ole Barron should have given some of his money to the employees who worked like dogs for him. Always waa known as a tightwad very removed from people Only ones he associated with were ones with same interest money, football, money, gaming, aviation, cigars.
What a man! It’s ashame no one in the family stepped up to the plate to run the family business. They all preferred to just draw their inheritance from Conrad it’s no stress getting a million in Hilton stock just for being born a Hilton.
