Big Daddy Kane documentary
Posted by Miss Info under good for hip hop , old music , videos[12] Comments
A clip from the documentary about Big Daddy Kane. Eskay says this was done by Anthony Marshall of Lyricist Lounge for Scion’s “Easy 10 Filmmaker Series.”
In a further effort to soothe my grumpy attitude, I am thinking of watching only legends and kanye in paris videos for the remainder of today.

Why the hell are you grumpy? You have a JOB during the recession… Your star is seriously on the rise! You have people who come to your blog just to see what ya thinking about, you’re fine as hell (f$ck that self-deprecating shit) and you got a cool ass stalker (couch cough) GET OVER THAT SHIT, NOW!
Oh and thanks for posting this I’m glad you saw my request.. I’m the biggest kane fan on the planet!

ok, now I feel guilty and grumpy.
but yes, I am very thankful for my job and my health and my readers, and my family’s health (knock on wood) and to be able to work, and many other things.
(not sure about the stalker part tho, lol)

Definitely looking out for this. Kane needs to drop an EP at the very least.
Mixtapes are cool but that’s a young cat’s game these days. Tell Kane hop on Amalgam, release an EP, and I’m good. Purists (I’m far from one) would cop and given proper promotion he can sell at least 50k which ain’t that bad.Real talk I don’t care if he sells or not just make the damn album.Reply

I would hella watch this, any time, any place. But the trailer is worth watching just to see the cats with the high top fades near the end. MODERN DAY high top fades, lol.

It’s about time!
Although I would have rather preferred that “The Vapors” movie would have come out. However, this documentary is still OK with me.
I’ve listened to rap when I first heard it in the late 70’s (I guess you can figure out how old I am) and of all the rappers I’ve listened to, I have never heard a rapper who had such magnificent Word Play and an unbelievable flow!
He is truly King Asiatic Nobody’s Equal(KANE).
