New Music: Big Boi Feat. Kelly Rowland “Mama Told Me”

Big Boi debuts the first official single off his sophomore album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors due November 13. The song, “Mama Told Me,” features the Outkast member over a simplistic, bouncy, yet groovy sounds of production team The Flush Music, backed by the voice of the beautiful Kelly Rowland. IDK about u guys but Big boi is DeF in my top 10 ten as one of the best in the game he just doesn’t get much props his lyrics are very creative its on another level

couldn’t agree more. perpetually underrated. Lived in 3 stacks’ shadow for a decade but totally proved his worth with sir luscious left foot. He is at least as good as anyone in the game now. And im not a hip hop mourner. I love current hip hop, but big Boi just fuckin kills it.
His longevity is also nearly unparalleled. you could argue Jay Z, based more on watch the throne than blueprint 3, and – of course – kanye never stops winnin (cruel summe doesnt count). Also, Ishmael butler is making a case for himself with his Shabazz Palaces rebirth. But Big boi might take the cake. Makin fire since 94
