big boi tour

While his OutKast partner Andre 3000 continues to keep us in limbo, Big Boi is staying busy on the solo grind. On the heels of his relatively well-received second solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, Fat Sax has announced the Shoes For Running Spring/Summer tour. The extensive, 43-date roadshow gets underway on April 18 in Big’s homestate of Georgia, and will make stops across the country, including Brooklyn, Philly, Chicago, L.A. and Dallas (with one show in Toronto along the way), before wrapping up in Boston on June 19.

Fellow ATLien Killer Mike will serve as the opening act for every date, while Big Boi hinted that VLADR‘s other guests, including T.I., Kid Cudi and Wavves, could make an appearance, depending on their schedules.
