In a statement made to The Associated Press on Thursday (Feb. 23), Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice revealed the pop superstar pulled out under doctor’s orders.

Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the issued statement says. Due to the change, Beyoncé has been announced as a headliner for Coachella 2018. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

Currently there’s no word on who will replace Queen Bey, the 35-year-old was set to co-headline this year’s two-weekend event with Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead. It would have marked Bey’s first-time performing at Coachella, becoming the first female act to headline since Bjork in 2007.
