Known for spontaneous moments, Beyoncé turned into Santa Claus on Friday. Taking a break from her “Mrs. Carter World Tour,” the 32-year-old singer popped up in a Tewksbury, Massachusetts Wal-Mart. The impromptu trip surprised shoppers, who were shocked to see Beyoncé walking the aisles, and greeting fans.

Along with picking up toys and a copy of her new self-titled album, Queen Bey took over the shop’s P.A. system. “For everyone in the store right now, the first $50 of your holiday gifts are on me,” announced Beyoncé as star struck on-lookers cheered. In all, Bey gifted shoppers with a total of $37,500 in gift cards for 750 shoppers.

The surprise appearance comes just days after retailer Target announced they would not copies of Beyoncé’s now No. 1 album, after the singer decided to released her fifth solo album exclusively on iTunes.
