Many greats from the entertainment industry gathered at the United Center in Chicago, IL for Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular. A star-studded evening and celebration for Oprah Winfrey’s 25th and last season as the reigning talk show queen. Oprah’s a-list of celebrity friends were among 20,000 people who packed the arena for the taping of what was her final show. Attendees included Will & Jada Pinkett-Smith, Jay-Z, Michael Jordan, Queen Latifah, Diane Sawyer, Charles Barkley, Dave Chappelle, Halle Berry, Dr. Phil, John Legend, Madonna, Jerry Seinfeld, Tyler Perry, Tom Cruise & Katie Holmes, Simon Cowell, Dr. Maya Angelou, Rosie O’Donnell, John Travolta, among others. The taping was turned into two-sets, with performances from Patti LaBelle & Josh Groban, Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, Usher and what many were anticipating Beyoncé, who performed her “Run The World (Girls)” single for the first time ever (twice).

The two day farewell special airs on Monday, May 23rd & Tuesday, May 24th.
