A day after gracing the red carpet at the prestigious Met Gala, Beyoncé stepped out with husband Jay-Z to attend the book launch of “The Thriving Child.” The best-selling parenting novel was written by Erica Reid, wife of X-Factor judge and music executive L.A. Reid. Mary J. Blige and Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles were also in attendance at the intimate launch party at an undisclosed location in New York City. The book was written following the discovery that both children in the Reid family suffered from complictions such as serious allergies and irritations since birth.
