After leaked photos and trailers we’re now officially witnesses to the Beyoncé Revolution in the official video for “Run The World (Girls)”. The Francis Lawrence-directed visual is the first look of what’s to come from Beyoncé’s upcoming fourth studio album titled 4 coming June 28th. Her busy week continues as she’ll be honored with the Billboard Millennium Award at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night in Las Vegas.
UPDATE: Looks like Beyonce’s official website have also posted the official cover for her June 28th album, 4. Thanks to FuckKeriHilson on Twitter. You can read the official press release issued by Columbia Records here.

If her song was true, she wouldn’t have to show all that skin to sell >.>

Not feeling the song at all, and the video was ok. And I don’t think B was showing a lot of skin. There is a different between being sexy and being a whore. B is just sexy.

I think it’s hard for female artists, especially R&B singers, to take a break to chill or start a family and maintain their position. Christina A., Keyshia C., Toni B. and I’m sure there are others.

The song is not her best but I dont think it’s that bad of a song either. The dancing in the video is off the hook though.

Okay I’m not a hater BUT Beyoncé’s audience is so mainstream they don’t realise she’s just ripping off underground sounds and style.
Diplo probably spent 5 mins recycling his Major Lazer tune for this. http://vimeo.com/5942589 It just bugs me when people say this Beyoncé sound is so futuristic – actually it’s 2 years old.
The cover to her latest album is also an exact copy of a fashion shoot (posted way back by Yimmy Yayo). Same colors, same angle, same arms up in the sun, fur around the shoulders with midriff showing.
The video… don’t get me started. That’s girl power? Dressing like a fool in the desert? Could have been so much creative.
My point is, it’s cool to be influenced but these days artists just straight jack.

B never really dances. She just moves her arms up n down and does a couple kicks lmao. Now Ciara can dance even though all she does is act like a stripper now lol but im not complaining. Also out of all the Beyonce songs/videos this is her worst of all time. *Kanye Shrug*

Nobody gonna point out the fact that they are white washing B, and she getting whiter and whiter in her photos….

HATE the song and no video can get me to change my mind. I see she’s back to channeling Tina Turner only this time in the Thunderdome. I’ve had enough of her gyrating on the ground and in the sand. She already did that in Crazy In Love and Baby Boy. ugh
