The legend of Beyonce’s womb is mythical at this point, with some websites keeping their hosting fees paid because of their constant uterus surveillance and blatant rumormongering. Remember back in March, when even mainstream new outlets like ABC News cited MediaTakeout as their source for Beyonce’s “mis-conception”? (did edward r. murrow shed a tear in the afterworld?) Meanwhile, the site BeyoncePregnant.com, which launched at the same time, has been lying barren ever since, with only a spam article about fad diets on its homepage. Wake up, webmaster!

Well, this time around, the rumor is coming from US Weekly, a source that has a few big prego scoops under its belt (and its fair share of duds, to be fair). US Weekly reports that the 29-year-old singer is in her first tri-mester of pregnancy, but then claims that she wasn’t “ready.” *scoff*

“B was shocked. She loves kids, but she wasn’t ready to be a mother just yet,” says a source of the singer, who married rapper Jay-Z in 2008. “She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.”

What’s curious is that the US article says that friends of Bey-Jay are “already expressing their well-wishes….

“Jay has been all about family since I met him, and he’s always going to be,” record executive Kevin Liles, who has known the rapper for years, tells US. “I wish them the best.”

Wait, did Kevin get ambushed into confirming the insemination of the century?! Either way, as I said in March, this is a matter of when, not if. Hov and Beyonce have been open in recent interviews about the couple’s love of kids and hopes for their own in the near future. Beyonce’s mom urged her daughter to get to procreating on national TV. And more importantly, according to Billboard, Bey cleared her touring schedule for a few months. Unlike Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez who spent weeks on the road gestating in front of packed audiences.

Hopefully, we’ll get an official Bey-Jay response soon, but in the meantime, let us analyze Beyonce’s recent public outings for any signs of bump. Whip out your eye-loups!
