I’d have to say from this interview, Azealia Banks may be one of the few new artists who really knows where their career stands and gets the public perception of themselves. While talking to Hypetrak, Ms. Banks opened up about wanting to release 2 rap albums in 2013, and then eventually stepp away from hip-hop. In her eyes, rap is just something she wants to get our of her system and definitely doesn’t want to rap forever. She even says she doesn’t think it’s “ladylike” or very feminine at all. But the most interesting part of this clip is when Azealia talks about the traps of the fashion world, and her understanding of how the politics of that world could really end up hurting her in the long run.
