I know I’m late, since these guys already got their shine with Matt Lauer on the Today Show this morning, but I just saw this clip of a young couple in Minnesota getting hitched with a lil’ flair. The whole wedding party blasted Chris Brown’s “Forever” (yeah, the Doublemint gum song) while dancing down the aisle. I’m sure some of their older guests were tsk-tsking but this crew looks like the folks you want to go to on a snowboarding trip with. Down for whatever. This warms the cold dark cockles of my cynical heart….for a millisecond.

Which makes me wonder why are weddings so serious in the first place? All weddings should be fun like this instead of the typical dry ceromonies that most of us drag through.
When I a teenager I dreamed of a wedding where I strolled the isle with a gangsta strut while Dre Day played in the background. No Joke. Props to the folks in the video for having the nerve to go against the grain and do something fun for an event that should be all about fun and joy.
