1ST OF ALL. I didn’t pay ANYTHING for my black Lamborghini chain I got it FREE as a birthday present from my jeweler when I turned 19 on July 28! [even for free, your jeweler ripped you off]
2ND OF ALL. Even if I did pay for it who are you to judge me on what I purchase with MY money? [the whole thing about being a public figure is that not just your financial choices, but also your romances, your actions, your work, its all up for debate...or as you call it...judgement]
3RD OF ALL. Why do the media blow up the things that they think will make me look stupid or ignorant. Why not publicize or put me in the spotlight when I do positive things? What about when I was in the hood this past Christmas passing out toys to everybody on the westside of Atlanta where I grew up why not show that on TV? Why not publicize my Little league football team that I sponsor in Batesville, MS or the money I donated to help build the rec center and boyz and girls club!? What about when I donated $25,000 for all those kids to have a good Christmas with the Toyz n da hood foundation? Why not step in when Ice-T was dissing me why not call up and have a sit down to squash that beef. THINK ABOUT IT A 40 YEAR OLD SOMETHING GANGSTA NIGGA VS. A 16 YEAR OLD KID (AT THE TIME). What if he really did have O.G. crip niggaz that had a price on my head to murder me? WHY DIDN’T YOU TRY TO STEP IN AND STOP THAT? But as for your good deeds, I looked on your youtube channel and didn't see any clips of Little League team...but I did find one of a performance at Toyz in the Hood. I think that the media does cover those good deeds, but some blogs that are more entertainment than news based do not. It's naive to think that they serve the same purpose to the web-surfing public. But we don't do good works for the thanks anyway....we do them to give thanks. But I can still see how an uproar would rub anyone the wrong way. I think its more humorous than offensive if anything.]

Regarding Soulja Boy, I’ve never been the one to hate on a hustler and I’m not going to start now. The kid is getting his riches. Hopefully, he’s smarter than he acts and is investing in long term funds. I must admit, for a dude that didn’t grow up around a lot of positivity, he writes pretty well. If you discount beginning sentences with coordinating conjunctions (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so — fanboys coincidentally), excessive punctuation marks, and caps, he’s actually a competent writer and a good one with some understanding of grammar rules.

It’s his writing (and speaking in certain cases) that makes me always question whether he’s acting like this because that’s him or if he’s doing what’s expected of a hood nigga. Even during the Ice-T shit, he kept blurring the line between intelligent and not like he’s trying not to expose himself.
I grew up around a lot of dudes like him that acted an ass to get girls, but when the girls disappeared, they were actually smart (not Einstein, but not stupid either). I personally cheer him on, Rich Nigga Shit moments and all.
I wouldn’t address the haters, though. 19 with a Lambo, real estate, and people gifting him multi-thousand dollar pieces of jewelry? Yeah, he’s fucking up.
Anybody talking down is bitter to me. Fact is, we could ALL do more for charity, but we toss that “if I had his money…” line out when rich people by their equivalent of our buying a new PC monitor or Wii Fit in the form of a car or rims. Get off the couch and volunteer time, a can of beans, or even some old sweatpants.

Honestly, I think SB should show some videos of the charitable things he does do because no one sees any of that besides the ones who are receiving the benefits of it. honestly if you’re that concerned with people’s opinion of you don’t put yourself out there. no one one would of known about the chain if he didn’t make it known. he vented a while ago about how crazy everything is and he wanted to be taken seriously and then comes back with “real nigga shit” “rich nigga shit”. hopefully this is a gimmic because it’s sad. the only reason SB is bringing up his charity work now is because so many people took offense to this situation. Do I think he’s talented… um… I’m not really sure. His ignorance clouds that in my eyes. Maybe there’s something there. Because he turned an album that was even more bullshit then the first one and turned it into a success.
What I do know is when I was 19 (which was just a few short years ago), throwing money, fighting in the club, and the overall persuit for the “American Ghetto Dream” was all I knew or understood.
But with time, with education, with a wife leaving me because I was just a “thug n****” I changed. Am I saying he will? No that’s not what I’m saying. But what I am saying is lets not act like we’re all so high and mighty that this little knucklehead ass n**** couldn’t either be any one of us or someone in our family that we wish would grow up.

it’s funny to me that people who are broke try and impose their financial views on others…
if he did pay for the chain, it’s his money and your opinion about it won’t change that! Now personally I hope that these entertainers take portions of their money and purchase sound investments like real estate (especially while it’s cheap) and do other things to plan for their future.
