Awkward Moment Of The Day: Joe Budden Confronts Consequence During Hot97 Interview

To no one’s surprise, it looks like Joe Budden hasn’t taken kindly to comments Consequence made about him in recent interviews with The Breakfast Club and Vlad TV. But it was Cons who was caught off-guard when guesting on Hot 97′s Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg show, when his Love & Hip-Hop New York co-star interrupted the interview and confronted him directly. Budden called out Cons for talking slick about him behind his back, while Consequence fumbled his way out of a potential altercation (thankfully things didn’t get physical, though) and blamed his interviewers and Raqi Thunda for instigating. Needless to say, it was a pretty awkward situation. We feel for you, Ciph!

If you watch the vladtv interview wit Cons and in the confrontation he says him an Joe saw eachother before this an said it was nothin. so wats all the confrontin for? Cameras!! Nowhere did i see anything necessary for you to confront anybody.
And how many times did you hear Cons say “if its a problem its wutever” or “if you wanna go there we can go there” Then Joe just mumbles some shit. You gotta watch the whole thing n just bits an pieces!!

I think Joe needs to remember that he actually doesn’t have much of a “hands” game himself. Unless it pertains to his handling of female aquaintances! If he needs a reminder we can buss out some ol’ WU-Tang stuff. Kinda remember a certain Mr. Budden getting snuffed the F out on that occasion. To try & confront someone while they are on the air in a professional capacity is a straight sucker move. He KNEW Cons wasn’t gonna do anything. Cons should keep to himself though unless he wants to take it there as well. But Joey???? He ain’t as hard as he wishes he was!

Being hard is being true to urself, and everyone will mention what “Wu-Tang” did alegedly, yet they didn’t do jack…Rae’s 6’4″ 260+ bodyguard threw the one and only punch. So when Budden’s homie, Crooked I had his goons ready to snap, not one person metioned the pleas that were copped. Was it a bad look for Joe, of course, but overtime, he easily won out in that aspect. Fast forward to today, where Joe calmly addresses a situation he felt was disrespect, and Cons got a bit sideways for no reason at all, n let the media personnel gas him up. Here we have a simple case of “whatever” by Cons, n a “Let’s be clear, stop the fuckery” by Joe…classy IMO…no need for the rah rah talk n who can do what cuz anyone has someone they can contact to help fight for them, confronting with the words makes it much harder on the person who can’t win but is looking for a good gamble

What happened between him and Rae have nothing to do with this. Joe was wilding at the time and paid for it. He was man enough to deal with it and even talked about on his webcast. Cos was talking smack and when he got confronted he did nothing but double talk. Cos was talking out of pocket and should have got snuffed.

the alternative is assault, and going to jail. Blacks need to smarten up. What do you gain from starting fights and going to jail? Joey was there for his release with Angie and it was opportunity if you ask me. Either way, Con who is questionable in my view anyway. Con looked and sounded caught off guard moreover he copped a plea or two. Joey looks calm and frankly in control IMO. Its a convo but could easily escalate behind the scenes and off camera if it didnt resolve then. I suspect Con will pop shit later in an attempt to save face.
