Cocaine Cowboys Pt.2 “How to Cook Crack”
Posted by Miss Info under crime , life beyond rap , not good for humanity , things I'm supposed to hate I refuse to , videos[36] Comments
first….kids, this is not for you. And this is not for non-kids who are retarded enough to have crackdealer aspirations in 2008. You’re morons.
But for all the rest of us, Cocaine Cowboys is a classic, so I can’t wait for part two. (for the record: the DVD extra “Hustling with the Godmother” is some of my favorite hell-naw docu-drama footage ever)
Props to Evan from Rakonteur Films, who sent over this clip from Cocaine Cowboys Pt2, which drops on July 29th.

Aahhh The recipe to my success. Welcome to the crack house. Cocaine Cowboys 1 was crazy, especially how Miami collapsed when the drug game ended.
They missed out 1 thing though, you’ve gotta have that Juelz Santana “Back Like Cooked Crack” Mixtapes playing in the background or Jay z’s American Gangster, “Party Life” or that “I can’t feel my face” mixtape.
And where the hell is the taster, there’s always a bum blacked out! on the floor at these crack houses.

Note to feds: I do not know Dopeboy’s identity, nor do I condone anything Dopeboy is saying.
@rich…
yeah, I admit that I only have the luxury of feeling like this is something fascinating as opposed to completely offensive because the pain of crack addiction never effected my life personally…
And I apologize to those who have felt that effect and are hurt by even seeing the lifestyle sensationalized.
I realize that its the same as when people laugh at suicide but I can’t get the joke, or when slasher movies have razor attack scenes and I get more freaked out than my friends.
We all have our personal reactions to things.

It wasn’t very funny when I found my son in July, 2010 with his brains blown out from a shotgun blast to the head because he was addicted to crack. I’m still not laughing. — His mother.

The original is great so I have big expectations for the sequel.
I do know the appeal from all sides of the fence other than user, the success from it and the pain of watching your loved one melt away but we ultimately we live and die by our decisions.
I only feel sorry for those born without the basic parameters of right and wrong.

Based on Miss Info’s comment, I feel like I have to clarify my previous comment.
Re:Note to FEDS
I do not condone the selling of drugs, guns or counterfeit goods I just admire the hustler spirit in those individuals, u knw provide for myself by any means.
I am also very well aware of the negative factors that surround such criminal activities and the devastating effects it has in the community, therefore I’m not promoting crime.
Yours Sincerely
DopeBoy aka Tony Montana
Ps Miss Info? why u gotta take it there though?;)

Cant wait for number two.
I don’t think there is anything to worry about about that video, anyone who learns how to do it on the internet isn’t ever gunna make it in the drugs trade.

Real Talk it has to do with the gravitational pull on the earth. If u were to stir it clockwise it wouldn’t blend nearly as fast or as “fine” as u would get from a counter clockwise rotation.

I also do not condone selling drugs, nor do I do so myself. I also do not condone the money and risk that goes into selling rock when meth can be manufactured at a fraction of the price, with legal ingredients, and a much higher rate of addict recidivism.
Seriously though, crack cocaine has to be about the most bizarre thing from which people derive street cred. You are performing 2nd grade easy bake oven chemistry, and perpetuating a cycle of povery and violence upon the least fortunate section of society. Even those who justify drug sales on “feeding my family” and “getting up out the hood”…etc are merely replacing themselves in the struggle with an addict.
shout to craze for making it ok to philabuster on the blog comments, lol

Damn, Miss Info getting heat for posting this clip.
Drug dealers are looked up to by some because, they got that money and are willing to show you how to get it.
Hip-hop is the street corners theme music coz based we can relate to some stories or at least know about them.
If this offends you now I know why G-Unit, Dipset, Grand Hustle, Corprate Thugs get so much hate. Coz some of y’all can’t relate.
Juelz got that “Born To Lose, Built To Win (The Reagan Era) Album comin out Miss info tell Killa Cam we need that.
To be clear, I don’t condone hustlin
There’s various hustles out there better yet many business ventures you’ve just gotta find 1 that your good at.

I work at a place that provides jobs. because of the area where situated in all kinds of people come in looking for work some of them are battling addiction. There’s nothing cool or hood about seeing young dudes around my age fucked up off crack and living on the streets.
I got family members and friends who are dead and have been in jail for “hustlin” and you won’t see none of them running around talking about being gangstas or thugs.
I was born in a country (Jamaica) thats being torn apart by this bull shit drug trade.
Info, what kind of positivity did you think you were putting out there when you posted this video?

As a friend to Charles Cosby, co-author of the upcoming book of his life, and daughter of the Miami ’80′s Chalk-Period, I am happy to know that the Cocaine Cowboys II DVD is being received as a success. As noted, it depicts the rawness of that period and the grittiness of the actual industry.
However, more importantly, there is much more to the Charles Cosby story than is shown in this docudrama. Just wait for the book! if you find the DVD to be “so serious,” the book will blow your mind – pun intended.
And the proudest moment I experienced in co-authoring, is Charles Cosby’s response in the end.
A REAL MUST-READ…A DEFINITE BEST SELLER!

I might be reading too much into this, but is there a revealation in that quote?

@lone…lol, revelation?
well, no, I think I was referring to my own personal experiences, sometimes I forget that I’m not just talking to myself here.
But I dont mind clarifying. I lost my dearest cousin to suicide. And I had my throat cut with a boxcutter in a mugging.

Well damn, thats kinda what I figured, but I didn’t know for sure. I know this is buried in the threads a bit, but the honesty you put out there is what distinguishes this from the average blog. my bad if I got too nosy, but I know if anyone can respect reading between the lines its you.

Seriously,
Lets look at this blog a little more carefully and its meaning. When the feds got wind of it,….they probably threw a party. If they could have a class on how to cook crack-they would! However, its unethical. lol The more individuals who have that special talent of turning powdered cocain into a rock form, the more potential addicts,…the more chance of curiosity luring another young dealer to find out what it feels like to get beamed up and get hooked, the more children of low social economic status born with no fathers because he was killed or jailed as a result of the “game”,….and mommie is an addict,…so first thing baby has to do is get weaned off crack. Hell,…crack is the feds secret weapon. Sneak up to the hood,…throw some crack in the direction of the inner city,..tip-toe away,…and sit back and watch the whole community collapse on itself,…..it just takes a lil time. The feds have plenty of it.

His response was odd because: 1) Bow Wow feels like he’s proving something by showing footage of Dollicia in his studio or office. But if there had been any romantic monkeybusiness, wouldn’t that be the footage he’d be showing off?? All that showed was a woman in a place and not feeling very proud about it. 2) Bow wow deflects Rita G’s story by changing the topic to who has more money or status. Which is moot. There many events during an All-star Weekend, and not all of them take place in a stadium with ticketed seats. So the fact that Bow Wow didnt really remember propositioning Rita during a party during that weekend, isn’t surprising…that he was so publicly involved with Ciara at the time, just reiterates what a pig he was to her. 3) Bow Wow’s last ditch attempt to save face by asking for sex from either or both of these women is the low point of this greek tragedy. For one, it contradicts his earlier statement by hinting that he has never “closed the deal” with Dollicia. For two, it means that he still yearns to get close to another.
