After last night’s Summerjam surprise (sort of) appearance by Jay-Z. He stopped by to talk to his good friend Angie Martinez…..revelation: T-pain basically 50-cented the performance of “Death of Autotune” by running up on stage and mugging next to Hov as he performed….lol.

Jay’s interesting to me cause whether its intentional or not he always seems to be chasing a degree of validation. Its like that “you’re gonna miss when I leave” vibe you kept pushing with his retirement, then the “return to save hip hop” He’s truly Ying to Nas’s Yang since Nas accepts whats given in respect and doesn’t ask much.
Nas opened eyes and started dialogue with Hip Hop is Dead….so Jay attempts the same with Death of Autotune.

Yo big shout out to Ms. Info!!! Im sorry but I think that Angie totally totally dropped the ball on the Jay interview. I would’ve liked for her to just get straight point on this especially since this is such a hot issue in the hip hop world today. Weird…I used the word hip-hop and today. That’s probaly an oxymoron lol. Get well soon Hip-hop I’ll be here waiting. Until then thanks for the memories.
