It’s the news Asher Roth fans have been waiting for: a new album is on the way. After teasing the announcement earlier this week, The Blonde Bob Saget let the cat out of the bag tonight. Arriving 2014, Roth’s long-awaited sophomore album — the follow-up to his 2009 debut, Asleep in the Bread Aisle — is called RetroHash (an anagram for Asher Roth, if you didn’t already catch it) and will be produced by Chicago’s Blended Babies. The duo have worked closely with Roth throughout the years, namely on 2011’s Pabst & Jazz, so we’re expecting greatness from this new project.

I really do like the way Asher raps but for some reason I’m not drawn to getting his joints.
He’s one of those artists I like hearing on the radio. This is where personality in artists makes a big diference.
