Not long after inking a solo deal with Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records, A$AP Mob’s next-in-line, A$AP Ferg, has announced his very first mixtape. In a recent interview with XXL, the Harlem rapper revealed that he will release Trap Lord in late February, early March. Ferg described the tape as “fun” and said he believes its production will make “everybody sound change” after it drops. If it delivers anything like “Work,” we’ll be inclined to agree with the guy.

My plan is to drop this Trap Lord mixtape, shake the world up a little bit, turn the world upside down. And just have fun. It’s about having fun. Y’all seen A$AP get the lawsuits and fight and all of this crazy stuff, now I want y’all to see the fun part. I’ve been in the passenger seat with Rocky driving for a while. Now it’s the part where they see what success brings you.
