ASAP Rocky Previews His Upcoming ‘A$VP C4′ Documentary

Before A$AP Rocky’s LongLiveA$AP debut album arrives in September, he’s planning to release a 15-minute documentary called A$AP ROCKY: A$VP for Channel4. The short-film takes us across the world with Rocky and the A$AP Mob as fans get a closer look into the new found fame of Harlem’s stylish collective. Directed by Luke + Barber, the film will air in the U.K. and on ANIMAL NY in August.

A$SAP is dope and all, but we’ve known the dude for all of 4 seconds. We do not need a documentary this early. Unless you’re some child prodigy, innovative genius in your field, or you’ve invented some revolutionary shit we don’t need a documentary on people under 50 years old.

haha for a second I thought it said ‘ΛSVP C(B)4′ …my mistake…although that’s a little movie contemporary rap fans seem to not know about….hahaha

This is so odd. I’m from the UK and i’ve been listening to ASAP for a year now. I first heard him when you posted the “Peso” video. But for him to have a 15 minute documentary showing on a british non-Cable or satellite channel is just weird.

For a second there, I thought it said $3million in sales… but no, just a stupid record deal they’re bragging about.
I guess their label paid for this to be put on tv and blogs…
