The 2013 “Made In America” festival, curated by JAY Z is underway this weekend at Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway. A$AP Rocky served as the first rap act to kick off Day 1 on Saturday afternoon. Arriving a bit late, which shortened his set, A$AP Rocky wasted no time rocking the festival’s main stage with cuts off his LongLiveA$AP debut album during his 15-minute set.

Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé followed Rocky’s set with an incredible 40-minute set. Backed by a 6-piece band, the songstress had the crowd in tune from beginning to end with singles and cuts from her No. 1 debut album Our Version of Events.

Over at the Liberty stage, 2 Chainz brought his ratchet raps and gave the most memorable performance of the afternoon. With Jay-Z watching on the side, the ATLien had the crowd non-stop jumping to street anthems and features such as “Mercy,” “Crack,” “All Me,” “Beez in the Trap,” “U.E.O.N.O.,” and “Bandz a Make Her Dance.” Along with bringing the Pharrell-produced “Feds Watching,” Tity Boi performed his new single “NetFlix” for the first-time live.

Fans can livestream this year’s two-day concert weekend here as Beyoncé will close out Day 1 at 10:20 p.m. EST.
