After taking an extended hiatus from music and, evidently, the entire Internet (he deleted his Twitter account and even asked sites to take down his music), Asaad returns in style with “Alejandro Jodorowsky Flow,” the first track from his forthcoming Flowers II project. The groovy record features a quintessentially dexterous verse from Ab-Soul, but Asaad isn’t too shabby himself.

For those wanting a little background, Asaad is a Philly rapper who built buzz around 2012 and 2013 with a slew of projects — White, New Black History Month, Troy — but kinda derailed his own career by beefing with Pusha T and pissing off rap purists with artwork depicting Biggie and 2Pac doing, well… see for yourself. Asaad also changed his name to Saudi Money for a brief period, but as he explains in this song, “Only created Saudi Money cause I had to make ends.”

Look for Flowers II dropping this Thursday (March 27).
