It’s hard to say what will become of Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey’s ongoing feud. Both sides seem to be trying their best to put the issues to bed, but when two personalities as big as these are involved it’s never a cakewalk. Will someone leave the show? Is Nicki going to apologize? When will they officially makeup? Yes, guys, we’re thinking about the same things, too.

Earlier today, Barbra Walters stated that she talked to Mariah on the phone about the ordeal. Though they didn’t air any interview audio or footage, Barbra says she took notes and gave her own interpretation of their chat.

Barber Walters: “I’m quoting [Mariah] now ‘Nicki is unpredictable.’ And Mariah says she can’t take a chance, and she has hired extra security. Nicki has not apologized.

Afterwards, Nicki tweeted: “All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated. Shady McGrady…”

Earlier today, Barbra Walters said on The View: When Nicki walked off the set, multiple people heard her say, if I had a gun, I’d shoot that — b*tch. She says staff members  heard, hairdressers, producers and other people. She said she’s very concerned, she’s with her twins, she doesn’t feel that anything would happen but, I’m quoting now, ‘Nicki is unpredictable.’ And Mariah says she can’t take a chance, and she has hired extra security. Nicki has not apologized but they have since been together in meetings…after the meeting, Nicki said to Mariah ‘I love you but we might fight again.’ Mariah responded, no we will not. At this point, Mariah says she doesn’t feel comfortable emotionally but she will continue to do the show because she loves the show and she loves mentoring the contestants.’

Nicki Minaj then responded on Twitter with a serious of subliminal messages
