I can’t beleive that there are people still discussing Frank and Nicky, they both made money a lot of money but they both violated the code of the street for god sake. Meanwhile Dr. Guy T Fisher languishes in prison, I sold herion in Harlem and midtown NY in the 70’s and 80’s and got busted along with my entire crew we all went to prison and did our time,we didn’t rat on the cops we paid off and certainly did not rat on each other. I just finished a book called I Make No Apology that should hit the stands by this summer it tells a little different story then either Nicky or Frank tells. None of us in the 1970’s had the connection or savy as either Melvin Combs ( P Diddys Father ) or Frank Pee Wee Mathews had Melvin was killed and Pee Wee posted bail and disappered. Ashim (9/20/07) got it right! All these rappers miles away from the rip and run of the streets do nothing but glorify what were probably short stints dealing drugs. Anybodywho moves product knows them niggas that always writing lyrics hang in someones recording studio,never on the block.Then when they get hot in music they write about what they saw,not what they lived. None of ‘;em had cases,fitty got shot in retaliation of something else,not drugs,but they will all glorify a game they don’t know and something the dudes on the corner regret every time they make a sale,niggaz aint down they millionaires and acting like wanna be’s.TI buying guns?How lame is THAT shit.

Frank Matthews was the real Ganster, he not only ran Brooklyn, (New York), He supplied other states and when he was due in court for his sentence, he fled with his girlfriend and his millions. That was 30 years ago. The Feds are still looking for him. He didn’t rat on anyone, he left, like the others should have done.

I HEARD MY FATHER MENTION IT TO MY MOTHER. FRANK AND MY FATHER WERE FRIENDS THEY WORKED CONSTRUCTION AND DURING THAT TIME,IN THE SIXTIES, I.T WASNT THAT MANY BLACKS WORKING CONSTRUCTION. HE ALSO CAME TO MY HOUSE TO GAMBLE ON THE WEEKENDS. FRANK USE TO LIKE ME, BUT I WAS SORT OF SCARED OF HIM. DONT GET IT WRONG, HE WAS RESPECTFUL, BUT IT WAS SOMETHING ABOUT HIM THAT YOU KNEW NOT TO MESS WITH HIM, IF YOU WERE SMART. HE WAS VERY FLAMBOYANT, WILD, AND HIS VOICE SOUNDED LIKE A LION. MY FATHER CAME FROM A VERY POOR FAMILY IN GEORGIA. IT WAS TWELVE OF THEM. HE QUIT SCHOOL AT A YOUNG AGE TO HELP HIS MOTHER. SO YOU CAN IMAGINE HOW HE FELT ABOUT GETTING MONEY. HE WAS A GENEROUS MAN TOO, WITH A BAD TEMPER. FRANK LUCUS USE TO LIKE ME, BUT I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT AWAY. I KNOW HE STILL REMEMBERS ME. MY FATHER IS HARD TO FORGET. HE PASSED IN 1985, BUT IF HE WAS ALIVE TODAY, HE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS PICTURE ABOUT FRANK. I KNOW HE KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING THOUGH.
