I personally don’t understand how he claims victory. What is his definition of victory.
I truly believe “what he is” and “what he claims to be” are two completely different people.
The marijuana in my opinion allows him to believe that “he is what he says he is” in his rhymes, that’s why every interview you see him in, he’s smoking.

50 does not seem to want to battle ross with lyrics, why not? he has poked fun at him, but this is not a real hip hop battle. It’s just defamin ross, 50 on a power trip. I dont think mc’s from the hood should battle eminem, cause em aint hood, he dont rhyme like a hood cat. it’s 2 diff things. eminem starts sayin a bunch of dumb shit, and all of a sudden he got a crowd behind him sayin a whole bunch of ooohs, and aaaahs like he actually dropped an ill verse. I have yet to hear him say some fly witty, lyrical shit. Ross is just a better rapper then 50 point blank period. That’s what it should come down too all the other extra shit is just that; extra. Ross’s last 3 albums including this new one deeper then rap which I just got is lyrically, and musiclly better then the last few 50 albums.
With the exception of Get Rich or Die trying 50 has yet to put out a complete work worth talking about. I mean think about it he has an endless interscope budget and Dr. Dre production and not to mention Em, at his disposal and the best he could come up with was, The Massacre, Curtis, and that god awful G-Unit waste of time T.O.S.
Hell with a few dudes from miami and the Justice League Ross has crafted a few classic tracks in his short carrier and the beats on this new album are well “Magnificent” fuck it then who needs a Dr. Dre then for a gazillion $ a tack but thats another story. LOL
As for the Eminem thing I would chill Em loves this shit it’s when he’s at his best god forbid he ever rap about any other real! topic in the last 8 years that didn’t have to do with dissing and or battling someone weather it be N’sync Brittney, Kim, Benzino or his own Mother. Now that I think about it who the fuck has he battled and beat seriously it’s not like he went at Nas and stood toe to toe with him like Jay did, He never wrote a “Hit em up” or a “Who Shot Ya”, “Ether”, “Take Over” there are no classic battle raps in his catalog, fuck it Ross go at Em I’d love to see him battle an opponent who can actually Rap see how he holds up.

Hey Ray is 50 cutting you a check from all those record sales…No? I didn’t think so. So why do so many simple minded hip hop fans fall into the trap created by record labels that sales equal quality.
Why do you care what anyone sold, does high sales equal a good album hommie? So why is that the argument everyone always pulls out to defend 50. In 50′s case no I’m sorry kid it doesn’t.
Hanna Montana has out sold B.I.G. Jay-Z, Kanye, and 50 cent a million times over by now does that make her an important artist musically of a creation of the label machine. I know I might be going over your head alittle bit with this but Reasonable doubt, Illmattic, Ready To Die, 36 chambers none of these went platinum at first hommie but they are probably the 4 most complete and influential albums in Hip Hop History and it took years for them to really start selling.

Wasnt 50 supposed to rock out the Graduation video of Rick becoming a CO? I recall it was meant to be dropped around the release date for Ross’ album. I aint heard nothing about that video for weeks (okay maybe days). Okay we may see the video of him getting his CO papers but we already know he was a CO at some point in his life so it is just repeating an old claim and lacks the power it may once have had. Okay so he was a CO at a prison. It still has not been put to me, in any kind of intelligible argument, why that fact is the career destroying move it supposedly is. The guy had a friggin job. That is all. At one point he left said job and started doing something different. He was not the Governer of the prison. He was one small cog in a giant machine. Is hip hop really supposed to be in complete opposition to people who work in prisons? Well what about those two guards at the end of Hustle and Flow? Were they barking up the wrong tree in trying to give DeeJay their demo?? Its people trying to blame the system when more often than not it was their stupidity that got them put in prison in the first place. You cant blame the system forever. Not every black man in prison is a Mumia.
