Alicia Keys performed at the Radio 1 “Big Weekend” out in Bangor, Wales….and her usual glow was accompanied by an unusually protruding but solid upper midsection….translation: looks alot like a baby bump, maybe 4 months in?

…man how are you sure this woman wrecked a home & a marriage?! 2 sides to everything we all know this! How do you know for sure Mashonda (who btw really needs to pull a shaunie oneal n move the fuck on) was doing everything as a spouse she was supposed to do to not make this man stray! Far as swizzy’s selection, I’ve said it plenty of times, one CANNOT blame HIM for this! Just stopped trying completely! Meanwhile HE still is the breadwinner, still keepin his self up, lookin sharp n shit!…n bottom line his wife fell off n could care less now “JUST CUZ”! if my unc was to bounce on her (while of course still taking care of his beautiful child), I’d look at him no different than I do right now! reason why, info, is because there are already too many african-american children born out of wedlock. isn’t it like 75-80% are, excuse my language, legally bastards. i am african american and my parents were married when my sister and i were born; my grandparents were also married (in 1930) when my aunts and uncles were born, as were their parents and their parents before them. unfortunately, i have cousins who are adding to the new horrible trend by having bastard children with dirtbags. i think the personal investment and anger toward AK, is that she presented herself as the type of woman who would not get caught-up in this bastard epidemic, but i guess she is. no one is objecting to sex before marriage or promoting abstinence, but pregnancy is a huge leap from good times in the sack. children need stability, and preferably two responsible, loving, sane parents (gay or straight). kids don’t need 6 different siblings by a bunch of different parents, that shit is confusing for them.

I guess….but just drawing from my own friends, I’ve seen well-rounded mentally stable kids and parents in divorced or out-of-wedlock situations, and folks who had both parents or are married who have dysfunctional homes. So I think with effort it can be done. The ethnological-sociological patterns are obviously problematic, but the economic factor is a big one. (sorry if that sounds super academic, lol….I’m really just trying to say that separate but happy parents are not worse than combined unhappy parents, no matter what race they are. And that not having the money probs of a typical extended family is also a factor)

yeah, that money gives them a huge advantage, but i went to college with a lot of rich kids, and they seemed totally emotionally starved and needy. like B.I.G said, “MO MONEY MO PROBLEMS”. cameron douglas and dash snow should be a lesson for all rich people.

I used to be a fan of alicia keys, not so much now.
Dont know the full story of the mashonda vs akeys/swizz cheating scandal but alicia comes out looking like a thirsty homewrecker. especially when she did them tweets! girl!!! i almost wanted to find her ass & slap her for mashonda. smh

Hold up! Does anybody remember that interview Alicia gave when she said she makes her men wait a year to sleep with her? She said she made Krucial (her ex) wait a year to tap, so Swizz just got his divorce finalized couple of weeks ago, Alicia looks to be about 4 months pregnant, Shonda and Swizz SEPERATED in 09′ (from her report) so that means Alicia was screwing & got knocked up by a married man that she let hit wayyy sooner then her so-called year waiting rule!
I always knew Alicia was a phony with that righteous im a strong woman talk she was did, bitch please! I used to be kind of hung up on the whole homewrecker thing until I realized…she’s a musician, her personal life has nothing to do with me and is none of anybody’s business. On that note I’m happy for A. Keys and Swizzy because I love both of them as artists.

On missexpose site she had a story that said alicia was in london w/ swizz to take a paternity test for his 3rd baby he had recently.
i dont understand why some women are in love w/ guys who have numerous baby mommas then they laid down & add to their list of baby mommas.

Looks like a Swizz-cheese baby is on the way! I am very disappoointed in Alicia, true u can’t help who u fall in love with but if he’s married he is OFF limits! I’m coming from a married womans perspective-Mashonda shouldve gotten MUCH more than 700k she should be getting 100k per month! Its heart wrenching to be cheated on but then to have it played out in the media? Double the heartache!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I guess moral judgment goes hand in hand with blog reading, but do you all really know only people who get married and stay married or stay faithful or dont fall apart or never lie or never change ones mind or never hurt someone else’s feelings? I think all parties will move on eventually, they’re all blessed in different ways, and they all seem like good parents (or parents to be) in that they can provide, they don’t seem to live dangerous lifestyles, and they want the best for their kids.

Why would any woman want a guy who is going through a seperation & divorce? Was swizz even in love with Mashonda? I mean damn he moved on pretty quickly! you gotta watch guys who jump into relationships too fast.
I wouldnt even fool with a dude for about a year after his divorce was finalized! let him get his head straight, experience single life and make sure his kids from the previous union are ok, people in these situations tend to forget how children are effected by divorce.

A lot of you are extremely judgmental. No one but Swizz, Mashonda and Alicia knows what happened between them. Also, check your facts…it was announced that they’ve been separated in 2009 for 7 months, meaning they were separated already…That is more than a year. Swizz and Alicia are in a relationship now, that child is for them, not you. They don’t have to answer to you all. I hope they have a beautiful baby, life, and career.

When you meet someone, sometimes that attraction is there and you have to follow it. I know people who were engaged, met someone by chance, dropped the engagement, and now are happily with the new person.
Most relationships aren’t meant to be forever. 3-7 years is the average for a DECENT relationship. People fall in and out of love. Most of these comments by women sound like they are coming from a bitter place and thinking about their OWN PERSONAL problems with men cheating on them and leaving them FOR A MORE BEAUTIFUL AND SUCCESSFUL woman who doesn’t complain like you did!
How many women here would leave their boyfriend or cheat on their husbands for someone like Trey Songz, Derek Jeter, or Matthew McConaughey?? I bet if that chance ACTUALLY HAPPENED, you would take it.

I don’t understand why ppl look at this with a side eye but I have 2 uncles that were separated from their wives and manage to have kids outside the marriage. Uncle #1 was on verge of getting divorced and uncle #2 is still married and has been separated from his wife for more than 5yrs. No offense but I’ve come to the realization that only American women get offended by situations like this. Being caribbean and a child of a similar situation, it’s common. Once the kids are taking care of who cares.

Just because something happens frequently doesn’t make it right people. People get murdered, raped, robbed, and disrespected everyday. Does that make these actions right? If Swizz cheated on his wife with Ms. Keys (not saying he did, i wasn’t there) both of them were wrong. I repeat, BOTH OF THEM WERE WRONG. If he didn’t like the way the relationship was going, he should have been a man and ended it before messing with another woman.
And Miss Info, you can’t post something like this up here and expect it to be all champagne and roses responses up here.
