Alicia Keys Performs at the 2013 People’s Choice Awards

Alicia Keys led an army on stage at the 39th annual People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night. Backed by a team of dancers and shining bright in a red blazer, the Grammy Award-winning songstress performed her Girl on Fire single “New Day.” In classic Keys fashion, she brought another high-energetic performance on primetime television.

I was pleased with this performance by Keys, especially with her complete team of dancers. I agree she does have a way of bringing the perfect energy to any performance. This award show and performance gave me and my DISH coworker a lot to talk about at work today so I’m glad I watched. I wasn’t home last night when it aired so I recorded it on my DISH Hopper with the PrimeTime Anytime feature. This way I didn’t have to worry about setting up an individual timer.
