New Music: Alicia Keys “Not Even the King”

After returning to the MTV VMA stage on Thursday night, Alicia Keys releases the second single off her upcoming Girl on Fire album (Nov. 27). The song, “Not Even the King,” focuses on the subject of wealth. Not actual money, but self wealth within your mind and heart. The record was first debuted back in April at the MTV Upfront presentation.

The lyrics are okay but she DESPERATELY needs some vocal lessons/coaching. The singing gets worse and worse with every album.

^ what are you talking about…her voice fits perfectly with the lyrics…and the lyrics arent just ok they are pretty deep
