Alicia Keys celebrates her 32nd birthday in style. The Grammy Award-winning songstress blasts off a remix of her Girl on Fire single, “Brand New Me.” Taking us back to the 90s dance scene, Keys samples a familiar party anthem in Crystal Waters’ “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)” for part two. Alicia hit Twitter to release the song and thank her great fans for all the wishes on her special day.
“I’ve been so overwhelmed by all of your birthday love that I HAD to do something extra special for you! Love to you!!! Big shout to Crystal Waters for your inspiration!… New Music!! B.N.M Part 2!!!!”
Alicia’s slated to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLVII on February 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

I’ve got a bright idea….why not just have crystal waters do a remake of her own song or a new song….someone over at sony music or rca should take ak’s contract and offer it to crystal waters instead…..that’s only right…..what’s the use in putting out music that is so fabricated and unoriginal when REAL artist are ready, able, and willing to record, perform, and entertain….I am glad that the MEDIA is making a big deal out of this lip-syncing bs that peope like myself are tired of …..my lyrics “we want real music because we are tired of pretenders, fake pretenders, you can’t believe because they’re tone deaf, yep, tone deaf…unlike you and me” wow, I wonder if this will sell a million copies….! I’m going to ascap now….TALENT IS IN NEED OF LOVE TODAY..Support artists who need opportunity and should have the spotlight!
