Alfamega “I Apologize”
Is this Alfa’s first release since he was outed as a former Federal witness by The Smoking Gun and then unceremoniously dumped by T.I. from Grand Hustle? I know that at the time he was actually in jail for a parole violation and kerfuffle with coppers in a Georgia parking garage….but perhaps he was released and recorded this?
Thanks to Ruby Baby for sending the mp3 as well as this letter from Alfa…
“This song, is an apology to anyone from age 8 to 80, that’s affiliated with or in any gang, To every parent (mother or father) that has lost a child to gang violence, every sister, brother, aunt, uncle, cousin, partner or whomever that has lost a loved one or a friend to gang violence either by death or prison. Even if I never met you or have known you personally, I want to apologize for being the root of the evil that is plaguing the youth of today, & I beg you for forgiveness the same way i would beg GOD to forgive me for every sin that i have committed, because i am 37 years old now, & i have finally become to realize by watching my own children that i wasn’t teaching something positive i was only teaching negatively”.
Sincerly yours, Alfamega
P.S. I would like to end by saying, “Violence Only Begots Violence”,” Lets move to a more positive direction & I sincerly, hope that people understand me & what I am trying to say in this song. GOD BLESS US ALL.

R U serious!!!! You are part of the reason why so many go to hell with unforgiveness because of this mind set…Forgiving and accepting is what Frees you! I am totally disappointed in your response…It’s never too late…this apology if sincere could be the matter of life and death for someone…It’s not Too LATE to expand your mental and develop a sincerity for God’s people!!!

exactly…that’s why he snitched in the first place. Dude stay getting caught. Be a man and take the L. He should move on, work for the Hip-Hop Police, his career as a artist is done. He on the same team as that CB4 Gusto rapper from Miami.

That was a REAL song Alfamega. I got many of BIG homies that are in their late 30s and early 40s that regrete their actions, decisions, and lifestyle choice. Now that I’m grown, they all respect the fact that I did my own thang and did follow another man’s lead. Now I lead by example and with positivity. My big homies are 100% Real out here in LA. So to get respect from them I know I chose the right path for my life.
Alfamega, I am not going to judge you on the alleged informant issue because only You and God knows the truth. 98% of rappers are full of shit anyway, bloggers are irrelevant (so fuck their opinions). Plus not one of these niggas (bloggers) will ever say anything to your face (these scarry ass niggas). I too was raise with street morals, but God’s morals suprecedes the street BS. So I say get right with God and all is okay. By the sound of your song you are trying to make a declaration that the “thug life” is BS and you were wrong for the lives you’ve destroyed.
I respect you as a MAN of honor, respect, and not a industry fake nigga. It takes a lot of humbleness to make this type of song and right a letter asking to talk face to face as a man with your former Boss and friend.
I hope all the informant stuff is just “allegations and hear say”. Hip Hop needs a honest truthful 2Pac like voice again. Not glorifing being dope boys, ballers, pimps, gang banger, etc.
