A Good Night in NYC: Grand Puba, Talib Kweli, Pete Rock and more

I’m dumb tired from staying up all night to upload this amazing video from the birthday party of Blacksmyth Entertainment’s Corey Smyth (manager of Talib Kweli, Pete Rock, etc). But it’ll be soo worth it, when you see it. And its ironic because we were just discussing the genius of Grand Puba in a previous post. Then, lo n behold, the God is standing right in front of me, rhyming like its 1992. These are the spontaneous, unassuming moments in New York City that make it all worthwhile. Seriously. And kudos to Corey for one of the best parties of the year, filled with good people and good music….and…no drama at the door.

Why does Grand Puba look like Forrest Whitaker?
Why does Joey Budden look like an older version of Juelz Santana high of that purple haze? A!
Why does Pete Rock look like Bobby Brown in that pic?
Why does the dude in the white T standing next to Dame Dash and Forrest Whitaker look like an older version of Cam’ron?
