Aaron LaCrate and Debonair Samir remixed Young MC into a Baltimore bounce track for their Delicious Gutter subversion of a Delicious Vinyl throwback. And it works! Especially because they put in the extra effort to create this hilarious remix of Young MC’s vintage Arsenio Hall performance.
The Young MC “Know How” mix will be on the upcoming Rmxxology album, which featuring classic Tone-Loc, Pharcyde, Masta Ace etc tracks, redone by Diplo, Spank Rock, Mr. Flash, and their ilk. I wasn’t crazy about the Young MC “Bust a Move” remix, but I can totally see “Passing me by” and “Born to Roll” done B-more style. In fact, I feel like I’ve heard them mixed like that at this Stretch Armstrong vs DJ AM party that I went to last year at Studio B. Dope mixes, kooky crowd, lol.

This is just more evidence of the new age sound. According to the latest issue of Rolling Stone, B-more was the #1 music scene. That ball is rolling and is all over the east coast. Ninjasonik, santogold, kid sister, spank rock, diplo, a-trak are all here to stay…
