Music’s biggest night is now wrapped up — and as you know — a U.K. artist shined the most during the 57th annual Grammy Awards. Sam Smith received the most wins of the night, leaving with four GRAMMYs including “Record of the Year,” “Song of the Year,” and “Best Pop Vocal Album.” Right behind the “Stay With Me” singer was Beyoncé and Pharrell — who both recieved three trophies each. During the pre-show, where most of the Rap and R&B categories were handed out, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar took home two GRAMMYs each.
While Kendrick Lamar’s “i” won “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap Performance,” Eminem got top honor with “Best Rap Album” for The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Among the red carpet arrivals, various performances, and near stage crash by Kanye West, one highlight rap fans enjoyed was during a segment honoring those who passed away in the past year. A$AP Mob co-founder A$AP Yams was mentioned during the touching moment, which came as a great surprise to his fans.
During commercial breaks, Kanye and Taylor Swift appeared to have became friends, Ed Sheeran caught up with Jay Z and Nas, and Rihanna had an adorable moment with Blue Ivy Carter backstage. Check out all the winners and backstage/behind-the-scenes photos from the GRAMMYs below.
