The lead up to music’s biggest night just got hotter. On Friday night, some of music’s biggest stars came together for “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night” special, live from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Hosted by LL Cool J, the one-hour concert event featured performances from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Robin Thicke with T.I., Lorde, Miguel, and more.

Along with hot performances on stage, the nominees were revealed for the 56th annual show taking place next year. JAY Z lead the pack this year with nine nominations, including “Best Rap Album” for Magna Carta…Holy Grail. Following the rapper-mogul are Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, continuing their fantastic year by earning seven nods along with Kendrick Lamar, Justin Timberlake, and Pharrell. Drake and Daft Punk follow with five nominations, while New Zealand sensation Lorde received four nominations including “Song of the Year.”

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards takes place on Sunday, January 26, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
