If he makes an album that sounds like this he will be in great shape.. But he will go in the studio thinking, 4 party-ish tracks, 3 chick tracks, One Weed Track, 7 street is tracks with various themes AND THATS THE ALBUM!! AND IT WILL BE ASSS!!
If he just goes in to have fun and make the best music he could be fine but his verses are getting weaker by the song because he’s running out of shit to say so it will be a forced trash record.. And for some reason his hooks are ASS most of the time… he makes one dope hook per 15 tracks…

Agree.. His music has been forced and the flow is the same recycled, stunt and shine lyrics. The Big 10 had a couple songs that were legit radio friendly/album worthy. “Wait until tonight” should have made radio if it didn’t. As far as beats he picks a lot of disasters then comes out with 1 fire track, where everyone comments “he’s back”. I wish dude would just pull a Dr.Dre move and record 500 songs and have a focus group of hip hop fans pick the best ones, otherwise we are going to continue to have to get a forced product and flow, which is either 50 himself or bad judgment by the suits at Interscope.

Banks in my opinion always picks hard beats to spit on and a lot of them are just crack and not radio friendly. A lot of the Cardiak Beats he had on HFM2 and on I think are tailored to his word play not so much with 50. Cardiak produced “Outlaw” but the flow by 50 on it didn’t fit. He needs more down tempo beats. He rode the 2 chainz southern beat good, word play wasn’t crazy but he’s good on beats like that.
I’m surprised he hasn’t just thrown rihanna on a hook yet, the radio will put anything she puts out on the radio. Girl could record herself singing the hokie pokie and it would be #1.

i dont really like it. i miss the old fif he was my favorite rapper. i hate his new angry jamaican accent flow/voice
the only joint i liked on here is the jeremih joint and he should have let jeremih do the hook alone

I think fif’s biggest downfall of late is his beat selection…lyrically he is always on point…
A couple of the songs I know would have had a bigger impact with more energetic beats..
Take the Riot track..granted it’s a 2 chains song but it sounded more polished than any other record on the tape..
I still think big 10 was a better tape but at least he’s putting out music so can’t complain too much

Lets be real…50 Cent is done. And honestly, he deserves it. He shitted on everyone when he was at the top and now that hes not shit in the biz, he wants to reach out, smh.. and on top of that, hes biting Nas album title. G-Unit washed..

My opinion? Thats fact.. 50 doesnt have a fanbase that will purchase. Sure, people will download a free mixtape.. sound is stale, sir.

I feel like i’ve heard half the tracks on this mixtape already. Stop doing mixtapes just come out with one hot song like Banks did and release the album. Oversaturation leads to getting sick of someone, learn from Eminem and lay low for awhile.

It’s the gift and the curse..cause it works for people like wayne and ross but when fif does it people get mad..
I think if the stuff he was putting out were more polished it would be better received..some of his songs sound too much like feelers to me

Thing is he doesn’t need mixtapes anymore. If he kept more music in his vault and dropped one banger, not a feeler (once a month) to see if people are feeling it. This is why he needs an outsider to be like that’s whack what else you got and not let any of the mixtape stuff even get out. If he drops a banger the momentum from radio spins would take care of the rest. At this point in his career he should worry less about sales and more on the quality.

The big 10, was definately more commercially friendly.I think the lost tape is specifically raw and unpolished, because he is going for the feel he had when he first started.During that time 50 had less money to polish the mixtapes he put out.In my opinion you are hearing some similar beats and a occasionally a hook or verse you’re familiar with, to remind his fans of who he is.Personally when I hear something I notice from him, it takes me back to when 50 was number 1 and I love it!he is giving the fans exactly what they have been asking for.I rate he has some amazing new musical ideas, but because he is such a rap icon, people want to remember him in the same light, so if anything that makes you look at 50 from a different perspective comes out, fans get mad.”sk I got nothing but energy”amazing line .that songs uplifting tempo reminded me of the song “if I can’t”.50 cent…a business genius, entrepreneur, icon.he is so potent and brilliant that you look for the fault, because it’s just so incredibly difficult to look at the life of an average person and be ok with someone coming from the gutter with no degree or qualification and out shining everyone on so many levels..writing books that are best sellers on wall street.SK.your number one fan.Jofferz1
