The road to hell is paved with good intentions…Not sure how this deal is going to workout cant wait to see what this produces…
A music fund? MARKETING FUND?
All I can think of is why dont 50 do this on the West Coast to get those artist like Spider Loc and 40 Glocc out? And I bet Young Buck is kicking the shit out of himself right now…
But where is the Mike Knox, Spider Loc, 40 Glocc shot? even if they only drop one major record those dudes need to be put out…

Till this day I don’t understand how a joint venture works. How are the profits split? Why not just do a marketing & distribution deal through G-unit and call it G-unit south.

That is what a joint venture is my dude.. Instead of it being through a major label like Interscope it goes through G Uint.. Think of it like this..
Rocafella and Def Jam’s business structure was set up as a pure marketing & distribrution deal which was called a joint venture..

How does Shawty Lo acquire a $10 milllion venture? Has he even put out anything credible besides Dey Know? Are people even interested in him? Does he have any type of buzz? I don’t know how good of a move this is.
With that said, I always respect 50 as a guy who is giving people info on how deals are made.

People could say what they want about 50s lyrical ability or where he ranks as a rapper but that man’s hustle is not be questioned. I would put money on it that fif will not lose in this situation, Shawty Lo might but fif will profit. That man aint make all them damn millions in that short time span by making stupid financial moves.

What a bad investment I wouldn’t give shorty lo 50 cents lol. Dude is not relevant or talented he’s just someone who had a lukewarm hit and due to the current music market is allowed to thrive on the mixtape circuit (free shit) No one is rushing out to see this cat outside of Atlanta nor will they ever.
