This all started from an off hand and to a certain extend hard to understand diss from Ricky Ross. Now it is a weekly web series. Putting Pinky in this video was so on point, I had one of those why didn’t I think of that moments. Because of his antics, we have always been forced to ask, what will 50 do next? With the latest adventure 50 has taking that question to a complete different level.
Everyone complaining about the “time” he has to make these videos but doesn’t that create the question of “How do you have the time to watch and then complain about it?”
From the start, I haven’t liked the content of this series (by the way, my comment is not an invitation for some immature clown to debate or attack me – it is just my opinion) but it is apparent to me that 50 is trying to transition himself into the film industry from the music industry and bring his fans alone with him. I personally don’t buy the, “I am getting more ads thing.” That appears a little bit too trite of a reward for a narcissist like 50 is. However, I do believe that he had the concept of pimping Curley sitting on the shelf, and once given the opportunity to roll out, he amended the original name of the series to pimping Curley and saw this as a golden opportunity to bring his fan base with him into film business, so that he could buy some leverage and respect in the film industry. Honestly, ads for a guy who thinks the way he thinks just appear to be too trivial.
Anyway, he appears to be success in making his transition. Best wishes to him in his future film endeavors, although I hope that he gets away from childish baby food and mature and offer us some real cinema.
