50 Cent headlined Hangwith.me’s SXSW showcase in Austin, Texas last night, where he treated fans to another preview of his forthcoming album, Animal Ambition. The now-independent rapper called for the lights to be turned down before performing a new track called “Hold On.” Between this, “The Funeral” and “This Is Murder, Not Music,” it sounds like Fiddy is more focused on delivering hardbody rap cuts than club hits in 2014.
“Hold On” and the Yo Gotti-assisted “Don’t Worry ‘Bout It” will be the next two tracks released from Animal Ambition next week. Fans can expect a new pair of songs and videos every week until the album’s arrival on June 3.
