It’s been nine years since the release of 50 Cent’s stellar Get Rich Or Die Tryin album. Friday night, 50 and G-Unit celebrated the album headlining Shady 2.0’s showcase at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. The 60-minute show featured performances of a majority of cuts from the 2003 LP including “Many Men,” “In Da Club,” “Heat,” “Back Down,” “If I Can’t,” and more. The big surprise of the evening came from Eminem, who joined the stage to perform “Patiently Waiting” and followed that up returning later for a medley of “Til I Collapse,” “8 Mile,” and “Crack A Bottle.” A great night for this year’s festival.
